On July 22, our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great great- grandmother, Lena Pinnick passed away into God’s graces after a brief illness post surgery on her legs. A warrior throughout life, Lena was just a few weeks short of 92 years old! She is survived by many loving individuals, including her daughter, Debora K. Sweeter of Newman, CA, step-daughter Pam Thompson of Colorado, nine grandchildren, six great- grandchildren, and six great great- grandchildren. She was predeceased by husbands, Edward Crissen of Indianapolis, IN , James L. Pinnick, I of Newman, CA, daughter Alice Wright of Newman, CA, son Tony Crissen of Castro Valley, CA, son James L. Pinnick, II of Castro Valley, CA, her parents and six brothers.
Lena was born in Indianapolis, IN and moved to CA in 1959. Both husbands served in the U.S. Armed Forces. Lena was a dedicate employee of both Catepillar for 15 years and Sunshine Biscuits for 14 years.
We are working on getting the funeral planned and the memorial will be held at Orestimba Presbyterian Church, where she attended church with her sweetheart, Ray Caseri and his family on Friday, July 30, 2021 at 11am.
