Leland's obituary
Leland Gosselin, 92, of Brighton, CO, peacefully passed away on June 28, 2022, in a deep sleep, feeling no pain or suffering.
Born in Potlatch, Idaho, in December of 1929, to Lewis and Ella Gosselin, Leland was a quiet and thoughtful boy. He was a spiritually minded person that truly loved Jehovah God. He dedicated himself to the interests of God's Kingdom. He began pioneering early in life and continued to do so for many years. He met Marlene Jones in the pioneer work, and they continued faithfully serving Jehovah through the raising of their children: Sarah, Peter, Matthew, Anna. His love of the preaching work was further shown through moving the family to Brazil to work where the need was greater. There he was always on the forefront of preaching activities, moving to wherever there was a need. After 39 years , he and Marlene returned to the US and, although elderly, whithin a short time decided to once more move to where there was a need of zealous preachers of the good news: Portuguese speaking population in the Phoenix, AZ area. After 10 years, during which a Portuguese language congregation was formed, Leland and Marlene's age circumstances required that they live with family, thus moving to Denver, CO, and living with Peter and his family. Soon the zeal for the preaching work was once again in full force in a local English congregation, Eagle Creek, in which they remained until present. Leland was a zealous preacher of the good news, and a skillful disciple maker. An example to all who knew him. We have strong hope of the day when he will stand again, heathly and strong, ready to continue the work he loved so much.
