We enjoyed the time with her and her encouragement to explore the nature in addition to the music itself. For us she was very happy and openminded woman, we will keep her in our hearts as this elegant, thoughtful, lovable lady. Happy we could be part of her musical life. Thanks for all her patience and happiness she spread with her dedication to the musical education of our smaller ones.

Dear Ones! Ms Leilani was our beloved trainer in Musikgarten and remained a faithful friend throughout the years. She spoke so fondly of her children - Toto and Lei - and served as an inspiration in my own mothering! Ms Leilani and my mom, Marlene Lee, travels and trained together - becoming fast friends! Surely they have been reunited in heaven singing praises to God and sharing stories of the children and families they loved and served. Well done, faithful servant!

Wow I am still in disbelief. Leilani was our next door neighbor for 31 years! We were the neighbors who called each other for a cup of rice, onion, or whatever we needed and didn't have at the moment. I am going to miss her so much. I keep playing her voice in my head. Whenever she calls me she always says, "Hi Sandi, It's Leilani"! Sending much love, peace, and condolences to Mr. Gilbert, TOTO, Lei and the rest of the family.

She used to teach our boys at the MusicGarden. She gave our boys their first taste of music and now one of our boys has a vested interest in choir and theater. She will be missed dearly.

So very sorry and sad to hear that our dear Leilani passed. We will always remember the years of wonderfully engaging lessons that connected all kinds with music, dance, and her beloved natural world. The yearly celebrations invariably were a treat and we lived the milkweed plants to help the monarch butterflies. She was an amazingly gifted teacher and our Coen was, and still is 20 years later, drawn to music thanks to her lessons. We are truly grateful to have known her and she will not be forgotten. We will always remember her through the songs she taught the kids and me while Covid made us sit all together in front of our tablets. We are really sorry . Leilani taught our sons since they were 2 months old until they were 4 and 6. We loved her classes and shows. We still have a plant she gave us. She touched our life. Unfortunately, we will be out of town. My condolences to Mr Gilberto, her kids and grandkids. She will always be present. Rest in Peace Leilani

Absolutely sorrowful is how i feel w this news. I appreciated Leilani very much for her kindness and her genuine goodness. I have known her since we were seniors in high school. I admit to not being able to do much w her the last few years. But l never forgot her. I had a stroke about 3 years ago. Thank you Leilani.
