Leila (Lee) Cameron passed away January 20, 2024 at Boulder Canyon Health and Rehabilitation in Boulder, Colorado following a lengthy battle with dementia.

She is preceded in death by her parents Walter Don Cameron Sr. and Dorothy Lum, her brother Walter Don Cameron Jr., and her late husband Everett (Ed) Steele and ex-husband James Walter McCall, Jr. She is survived by first husband Howard Hill; her sister Mariana Cameron and niece Pat Mialy; her sister-in-law Dena Cameron and nieces Sherry Cameron, Danielle Cameron Hanson, Marissa Cameron Ness and Christina Cameron Will; her daughters Holly Scott, Drew McCall-Burke and her husband Jimmy Burke, Alex McCall, Allison McCall-Mayfield and her husband Jeff Mayfield; step daughter Debra Steele Horning, her grandchildren Taylor Scott, Shelby Scott, Garrett Scott, Junior Burke, Spencer Burke, Cameron Burke, Sarah Taggart, Charlotte Harrold, Sophie Harrold, Christopher Harrold and his wife Sydnie Harrold, Ruby Bekerman, and Cole Mayfield along with her step-grandchildren Tim Horning and Kristin Horning Grobe.

Born in White Plains, New York and raised in Virginia, Florida, and Indiana, Lee moved to Colorado in 1973 and loved living in the state ever since and spent her time after retirement caring for and riding horses with her husband Ed. She enjoyed crafts, gardening, Corvettes, and celebrating her Scottish heritage.
