To the Harris clan:  I know that today is an anniversary of sorts, so thinking of Mr. H today.  Such a great man who is sorely missed.  It was great seeing some of you at the Al Levine weekend.  Hope to see you all again soon!

Love,

Allsy & Mindy

Great man, amazing family. Mr. H lived every day with integrity, humor and joy. He made any place better and brought sincere friendship to every interaction, no matter how small or passing. His glow was warm and pervasive, and I always walked away with a happier heart. Heaven is more welcoming with Tim Harris there.
How do you even begin to put into words the impact Mr. H had on the people around him? He is one that walked and talked his character every day. Whether in the classroom, in the gym, or on the mountain - he showed how much he cared for others - and he made everyone around him better - just by being. His joy of life (along with Mrs. H.) was contagious, and the time spent at Highlander a gift. I am honored and thankful to have known him. Prayers of peace and comfort to the entire Harris family - may his joy fill you as you reflect on the memories of a life well lived. Laura (Rhino)

Just heard about Tim. So sorry to hear. He had a good life and was well loved by all of us. I am sorry that I can 't make the memorial in August. My love to the family. You are in my prayers.

I worked camp highlander 3 summers over a period of 4 years. On my last year, Mr. Harris awarded me with a book about the history of the Appalachian trail as he knew how much I loved all the hiking. On the first page of the book Tim thanked me for showing my boys what true nature was really like and ended by saying "So here is my creed and how I love it, beauty in earth and God above it" his creed has become my own. The book he gave me 52 years ago remains a permanent fixture on my coffee table to this day. I will forever have him in my heart. Riley V. Burch

I send loads of love to your family as your celebrate your father/grandfather/great-grandfather's amazing life. While I was just a tiny footnote in the life of Mr. H., I feel so fortunate to have met and shared meals with him in Christ School's dining hall over the past decade. He was always so sweet to me, and it warmed my heart to witness the love he showed Dale and Leigh -- and their love for him.

Dale, Leigh, and the entire Harris family,

Our condolences at the passing of your patriarch, Tim. What a rich life he lived and a wonderful family he raised. Take great comfort in knowing that he is reunited with your mom.

Respectfully,

Mr. Harris was my Math teacher at Pine Crest in the 80’s. He taught me geometry in 9th grade. He saved me. When I was down, and needed extra help, he came to me and told me he would help me anyway he could. Obviously, I will never forget that. It was 40 years ago. Then, I went to Camp Highlander and had the most incredible summer of my life! He was such an incredible leader. In 2003, I moved to Acworth, Georgia, and as fate would have it, I ended up being one of the Dance Teachers to his granddaughters- Lacey & Tori were amazing dancers and more importantly, wonderful young ladies. The apple does not fall far from the Harris Lineage tree. The Harris family is amazing. I am privileged and blessed to have had Mr. Harris as a big influence in my life, and very fortunate to hopefully have influenced his grandchildren in some capacity in their lives. My condolences and blessings to all! Much love.God bless. Xoxo 😘

Coach Harris got me into wrestling my senior year at PC and was a patient teacher while I gave it my best. It ended up becoming a love for me and I wrestled all through college and well beyond. I coached wrestling and football too and Coach Harris got it all started for me. My condolences to all of you. Peace and love to you all.

My heart and prayers are with Tim, Dale, Leigh, Donna, and the entire Harris Family. I am so very sorry for your loss.

Your Dad was one of a kind! He touched SO MANY of our lives and always made EVERYONE feel special. Without your Dad's guidance and encouragement, I would never have had the magical, life changing experience that is 'Camp Highlander'. So many joys, adventures, and lessons that impact how I live my life each and every day.

Mr 'H' (and Mrs Harris) will forever hold a very special place in my heart and those memories will always bring a smile.

Hugs and Love and Deepest Sympathy, Duck
