Leigh Anne's obituary
Leigh Anne Kinder, 35, went to be with the Lord on May 15 in Bloomingrose.
At the time of her death, Leigh Anne was a salesperson at Clayton Homes. Leigh Anne had worked in some form of sales and marketing for 15 years. Leigh Anne and her family attended Amazing Grace Church in Kirby.
Leigh Anne had a warm and gracious spirit that made everyone who knew her feel uplifted. She was tenderhearted, and a sweet person who enjoyed life and spending time with family, especially her daughters.
Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Kelsey Hinson and Carleigh Thompson; sister and brother-in-law, Carmen (Kinder) Grimm and Billy Grimm of Lexington, Ky.; grandmother, Ileen Kinder; father and stepmother, Gary and Lena Mae Kinder; half-brother and half-sister, Travis Kinder and Bethany Kinder of Danville; her uncle, Darris Moore of Comfort; as well as a host of cousins, family and friends.
Leigh Anne was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lester and Alzena "Doll" Moore of Comfort; grandfather, Seth Kinder of Bloomingrose; and her mother, Gloria Sue Kinder of Lexington, Ky.
Friends may gather for a visitation service from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at Armstrong Funeral Home, Whitesville.
Leigh Anne will be laid to rest alongside her mother, Gloria Sue Kinder, on Sunday, May 20, at noon in the family cemetery (Mt. Hope Cemetery) on Dawes Mountain with entrance from the Slaughters Creek Gate. Pastor Kevin Wade of Victorious Living Christian Center will be officiating.
Armstrong Funeral Home, Whitesville is serving the family.
