In loving memory of our mother, Leeza Crickett Nelson Ridd, who passed away on June 16, 2022. She was the devoted and loving mother of Jewell, Ruger, Dawson, and Alexandra. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Our mother was a kind, caring and giving person who always put the needs of her family and friends before her own. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity. Leeza was a wonderful and loving mother who gave her all to her family. She was a source of inspiration to us all and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched. Growing up, Leeza was always there for us, whether we needed help with our homework or just a shoulder to cry on. She was a woman of strong faith and she instilled in us the importance of family, hard work and doing what is right. We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her. 

Leeza was preceded in death by her mother, Crickett, her father, Merrill Nelson, and her son, John William. She is survived by her children, Jewell, Ruger (Tara), Dawson, and Alexandra; her brothers, Rick (Katey) and Doug (Sue) Nelson, and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at Berg Mortuary in Provo on June 23th at 10am. Our mom, Leeza, was one of the most accepting, kind, compassionate, and exuberant women to ever walk this earth and our family was blessed to have her. Mom, you will always be in our hearts and we will never forget you. We love you so much. Rest in peace.
