Leesa Ann Hensley, age 60, of Frankton, Indiana, passed away on December 21, 2024. She was born on January 8, 1964, in Denver, Colorado, to her loving parents, Elizabeth and Walter Sternenberger.

Leesa radiated a vibrant energy that lit up every room she entered, spreading joy and laughter wherever she went. Above all, her family was her greatest joy. As a grandmother, mother, and sister, Leesa cherished every moment spent with her loved ones, creating memories that will forever be treasured.

Leesa is survived by her spouse, Brian Hensley; children Christine Huber and Ryan Tucker; and grandchildren Blayze Huber, Rylee Tucker, Reegan Tucker, and Roree Tucker. She is also survived by her sisters Diane Watt, Janet Deere, Donna Hart and Karen Sternenberger-Quigley; and brothers Gary Stern, David Sternenberger, and Michael Sternenberger. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth and Walter Sternenberger.

Leesa’s infectious spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that you spread kindness in the world, as Leesa did throughout her life, by performing an act of compassion in her memory.

A celebration of Leesa’s life will be held on January 11th from 2PM MST to 5 PM MST located at Holiday Inn Denver Lakewood, 7390 W Hampden Ave, Lakewood, CO 80227. The celebration will take place in the hotel banquet room- the front desk will direct you to the correct room.
