It is with profound sorrow that we announce the death of Lee "Lee Roy" Tate, who passed away peacefully on August 2, 2023. Lee Roy was born on August 18, 1952, a date that marked the beginning of a graceful life filled with profound lessons, resilience, and immeasurable contributions.

A man of modesty and great virtues, Lee Roy is survived by his loving and devoted family. His legacy continues in the lives of his daughters, Marisia Odom and Lashonda Warren. He was a proud grandfather to LeAndre Odom, Jr., Cassie Odom, Alisia Warren, Nicholas Warren, and Laila Odugba. He also leaves behind a beloved son-in-law, LeAndre Odom, Sr. His warm smile, wisdom, and boundless love will be greatly missed but will forever remain in their hearts.

Lee Roy has been reunited with his parents, Rev. Robert Tate and Mary Cain Tate, in the eternal peace. His brother James Allen Stewart,  and his beloved wife Rosella Tate. The fond memories of his life and the love he shared will continue to inspire all who knew him. He will always be remembered for his resilience, his charisma, and the positive impact he had on the lives of his loved ones.

The family would like to express their gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult period. Your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated.
