About Freedom Canines International

Memorial donations to Freedom Canines International support the training and placement of highly skilled service dogs that empower people with disabilities to live more independent lives.

Freedom Canines raises and trains mobility assistance, hearing, diabetic alert, and facility dogs while also mentoring local students who participate directly in the training process. Through this unique model, dogs are prepared to transform lives — and students gain leadership skills, responsibility, and compassion.

Each service dog receives extensive, specialized training tailored to the needs of the individual they will serve. Donations help cover veterinary care, food, equipment, advanced training, and long-term client support.
