Lee Rachel Mercer, 82, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2020 sitting in her chair in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Lee was a labor and delivery nurse by profession. She was a strong believer in Jesus Christ and will be remembered for her love of and devotion to God. Lee is preceeded in death by her parents, Ralph and Esther Mercer; her daughter, Tracy Bishop; and brother-in-law, Ted Armstrong. Lee is survived by her sister, Carol Armstrong of Oklahoma City; neice and husband, Rebecca and Peter Cole, of Yukon, Oklahoma; nephew and wife, Sid and Lori Richardson, of Choctaw, OK; cousin and husband, Emma Lou and Douglas Douville, of Alabama; son and wife, Devon and Michelle Schafer of Enid; son and wife, Alex and Dorothy Schafer, of Lexington; 7 granddaughters; 4 great-neices; 1 great-nephew; and 7 great-great neices and nephews.
