Lee Jackson, Jr., 72, of Lake Monticello, VA died on October 20, 2022 at the Hospice House of Charlottesville. Born December 13, 1949 in Colorado, Lee was the only child of Leroy Leonard Jackson, Sr. and Yvonne Jackson of Falls Church, VA who both preceded him in his death.

Lee served over 30 years in the federal government before retiring in 2005. He continued to work in a variety of consulting capacities up until 2019. But his true love was his family. He dedicated his life to his wife and children making sure that they knew he loved them every single day of his life. In addition to his family, he loved making people laugh, watching football, (terrible) dancing, golf, and Porsches.

Lee is survived by the love of his life, Molly Jackson, also of Lake Monticello, VA; his children Jennifer Diggs and her husband, Jason of Staunton, Virginia; Andrew Jackson and his wife Rachel of Baton Rouge, LA; Lauren Meyer and her husband Adrian of Williamsburg, VA as well as three beautiful grandchildren, Zoë, Audrey, and Jack Diggs. He is also survived by several in-laws, nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.

Special thank you to all of the caregivers Lee has encountered over the years that have graciously laughed at all of his jokes up until the end including but not limited to Dr. Valentine, Dr. Sty, and the Hospice House of Charlottesville.
