Lee's obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Lee Compton, a cherished member of our community. Born on February 26, 1946, Lee departed from this life on March 14, 2026. He will be deeply missed by those who knew him. Lee was a man of compassion and integrity, touching the lives of many with his kindness and generosity.
Lee is survived by his devoted daughter, Krystin Ruschman. Their relationship was a testament to Lee's nurturing nature and unwavering love as a father. Krystin remembers her dad as a pillar of strength and a source of endless support throughout her life.
We invite friends, family, and those whose lives were touched by Lee to a Celebration of Life service. This will be held on May 16, 2026, at 7:00 PM at the Black Barn Farm Kitchen & Deli in Jacksonville, OR. This venue, one of Lee’s favourites, encapsulates his love for community and his appreciation of simple, heartfelt moments.
In remembering Lee, we are reminded of his gentle soul, his love for his family, and his passion for his community. His departure is not an end, but a transition into a realm of peace and eternal love. We thank him for the memories, lessons, and love he left behind, and we will carry his legacy forward in our hearts.
