Althea and LJ, my heart, though shattered, is with you always.

Lebert was my wonderful brother. He was full of laughter, the kind that lifted a room without effort. He carried himself with charm and quiet dignity, and treated people with the care of a true gentleman. He was devoted, principled, and deeply thoughtful in the way he showed up for those he loved.

To me, he was more than a brother; he was my cheerleader. Always encouraging, always proud, always reminding me of my worth even when I didn’t think much of it. I will forever carry that confidence he placed in me, and I am endlessly proud to call him my brother.

Our family will never be the same without him. Future gatherings and celebrations will be emotionally challenging without his presence, his voice, and his warmth, but he will be forever uppermost in my memory. Even though we have not been singing together much anymore, I can still hear his voice in every song we performed.

Lebert will be missed beyond measure and remembered with love always.
