Leatrice “Lee” Ann (Sauve) Junglen

Leatrice “Lee” Ann (Sauve) Junglen, 91, of Fountain Colorado went to her heavenly home on Sunday October 2, 2022. She was a loving and devoted  great grandmother, grandmother, mother, and friend to all whose lives she touched.

Lee was born on January 3, 1931, in Terrebonne Minnesota to Eli Carl and Delima Rose (Parenteau) Sauve. Lee lived there until the age of 13. After the death of her mother Lee moved to Crookston Minnesota where she lived with her brother Don and wife Amanda Sauve. Lee attended and graduated High school in Crookston. After her graduation, in 1953 Lee moved to the Twin Cities where she attended nursing school and worked in a department store. Being a very good dancer Lee later became employed by Author Murry Dance studios in Minneapolis MN where she became the Lead Dancer. This is where she met James “Jim” Junglen, and there they both worked as Dance Instructors. Jim and Lee were married on November 4, 1956, in Duluth Minnesota, however, divorced many years later. While together, they relocated to Security Colorado in 1959.

Lee was always keeping busy. After she arrived in Security, while being a devoted homemaker, Lee also worked many small jobs. She was a salesperson for the Beeline clothing line and along with Mary Davis of security, started a popular small craft business named Mary Lee Creations. Lee also enjoyed dancing and singing where she was a devoted member of the Sweet Adelines International, where through music, she was able to share joy, passion, and emotion. During all of this, Lee was also the Secretary and Bookkeeper for their growing electrical business South Suburban Electric.

Other than her family there was nothing that Lee enjoyed better then growing flowers. From growing flowers in her yard in Security Colorado in the 1960s to her large successful nursery of 50 years, Flower Floral in Fountain Colorado. Lee Supplied Flowers to most small and large retail nurseries, local businesses, and governmental institutions in Colorado Springs and Pueblo. Beautifying the front range with flowers, bedding plants, trees, and shrubs. Through Flower floral Lee also made it a priority to hire battered and abused women.

Lee Loved her family most. She lived a full life as a wonderful mother and cherished every moment she could spend with her family. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts until we meet again in heaven. Survivors include her children Mark Junglen, Kim (David) Robertson, Kevin (Cathy) Junglen. Grandchildren; Brian, Rhiannon, John Paul, Jacob, Normandie, Kendra. her Great Grandchildren; Brian Jr., (Andrea). her Great-Great Granddaughter Bailey. Lee was preceded in death by her Parents, Brother Don Sauve, Sister Audrey Johnston, and son Kent Junglen.

John 16:22 - So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you.

A quick graveside service will be held 11:00 am on December 9, 2022 at the Fairview Cemetery, 757 S Santa Fe Ave, Fountain Colorado 80817
