On February 24, 2025, the world bid farewell to a cherished soul, LeAnn Pope Herndon. Born on May 24, 1949, LeAnn made her presence felt with her compassion, faith, and love for her family, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Deeply ingrained in her religious beliefs, LeAnn was a lifelong member of Springhill Baptist Church where her faith played a significant role in shaping her life and relationships. Her nurturing spirit and love for her family were unparalleled, setting her apart as a mother, grandmother, and sibling.
LeAnn leaves behind a family that loved her immensely and will miss her dearly. Her daughters Alisa Lee, Amy Herndon, and Carrie Blaisdell; her son-in-law, Kenny Lee, and her grandchildren Joshua Turner, Tyler Lee, Dustin Lee, Jared Haywood, Journey Haywood, Mason Blaisdell, Ethan Blaisdell, and Kellee Blaisdell, and 9 great grandchildren,along with her brothers Alan Pope and Johnny Pope, several nieces and nephews survive her, each carrying a part of her legacy within them.
LeAnn has been reunited with her mother, LaVerne Pope, and father, Leon Pope, who predeceased her. While her physical presence will be missed, the memory of her love, faith, and resilience lives on in the hearts of her loved ones.
In memory of LeAnn, we celebrate her spirit of love, and her immense faith that touched and uplifted everyone around her. Her legacy lives on, not only in her family but in every life that was privileged to have felt her warm and nurturing presence.
