It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Layla Price, a cherished daughter, sister, friend and student, on October 25, 2025. Born on December 13, 2015, Layla's Nine year journey, though short, was beautifully marked by sweetness, intelligence, and a bubbly spirit that touched all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Layla is survived by her adoring sisters, Myia and Mariah Price. Their loss is immeasurable, yet they find comfort in the memories and joy Layla brought into their lives. Her short but impactful journey began a new chapter on August 12, 2025, when she started elementary school. Layla was also an active member of the Boys and Girls Club, where she thrived amongst her peers.

With a fondness for Pizza, Tacos, and Mac & Cheese, along with Chocolate milk and sparkling water, Layla was always lively at the dinner table. Her love for literature was kindled by her favorite book, Judy B Jones. The world of TV didn't lag behind in Layla's favorites, with Laylay on Disney topping the list. In her downtime, she enjoyed movies like Inside Out and Red Panda.

Layla's artistic sensibility was nurtured by her love for Dr. Seuss's artworks. She found joy in playing games like Uno and Connect 4, and watching performances, with American Idol being a favorite. Layla loved the outdoors, reading, drawing, and her unique energy was seen in her chosen form of exercise, dancing.

Even at her young age, Layla was conscious of her environment, making it a cause to pick up trash off the floor. Her personality was wonderfully vibrant, reflected in her favorite colors of pink and purple. She was sweet, bubbly, and smart, a young leader in the making. Her life has left behind lessons of leadership, with emphasis on being proactive and taking initiative.

Layla's greatest accomplishments included her passion for reading and helping others. Her legacy is one of kindness, compassion, love, values that were evident in her daily life. We will forever remember Layla Price, a radiant beacon of positivity and joy whose life, though brief, was a testament to living authentically and fully.
