Lawrence's obituary
Born in New Haven, Connecticut, on October 23, 1945, he was the beloved son of the late Dominic and Rose Landolfi.
Larry graduated from Wilbur Cross High School in 1963. He proudly served his country in the United States National Guard from 1965 to 1971. He dedicated much of his professional life as a skilled Pipefitter with UA Local 777 (Plumbers, Pipefitters, and HVAC-R Service Technicians), where he was respected for his craftsmanship and work ethic over many years.
Larry was an avid fan of the New York Mets.
A devoted family man, Larry is survived by his loving wife of many years, Elizabeth Landolfi; his two sons, Lawrence Landolfi Jr (Edda) of Wallingford, CT., and Michael Landolfi (Jennifer) of Naugatuck, CT; and his eight cherished grandchildren, Kevin, Zachary, Larry III, Matthew, Gianelly (Gio), Dominic, Jessica, and Michael who brought him immense joy and pride.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by those who went before him in the family.
Family and friends will remember Larry for his steadfast character, his commitment to his trade and his country, and the deep love he held for his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Arrangements are private at the family’s request. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to a cancer research organization or veterans’ support group of your choice.
