Lawrence's obituary
Larry served his country honorably in the Army from 1951-1953, where he learned valuable skills and developed a strong work ethic that he carried with him throughout his life. After his service, Larry worked in the family's masonary business (John Klein and Sons). He later worked as a welder and pressman at A.O. Smith, where he was highly regarded by his colleagues.
Larry is survived by his beloved wife, Marilyn, and their three children, Kathy, Kenny, and Steve. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary, his father, John, and his siblings, Raymond, Ervin, John Jr., Eleanor, and Donald.
A visitation will be held at 11 AM, followed by a service at noon, on May 5, 2023, at the First Congregational Church of East Millinocket, ME. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the First Congregational Church of East Millinocket, ME, in Larry's memory.
Larry will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, and friend, and was admired for his unwavering commitment to his family and community. He will be greatly missed, but his spirit will live on in the memories of those who knew him.
