Gary's obituary

With heavy hearts we are saddened to announce the passing of Lawrence Gary Gizicki, 69, on February 8, 2022. Gary passed away surrounded by his loved ones.

Gary was born to the late Henry and Rose Gizicki on November 3, 1952 in Detroit, Michigan. He is survived by his wife, Sandra “Darlene” Gizicki, daughters, Mandy and Kimberly Gizicki, grandchildren, Elexus, Devin, and Arianna Lewis, son-in-laws James McMahan, Joshua Lewis. Brother of Elizabeth “Betty” Sobieski (Bill), James “Jim” Gizicki (Debbie), the late Donald Gizicki (Kathy), Richard Gizicki (Mary), Fred Gizicki (Laura).

Gary has made a loving impact in many people’s lives; his warm heart, jokes and contagious laughter will forever be remembered and of course whenever the Lions win we will think of him. His grandchildren adore him along with all his nieces and nephews. We want to celebrate his life and share stories that we hold close to our hearts.

Please join us on Saturday February 12, 2022 from 11:00pm – 3:00pm at Wayne Tree Manor, 35100 Van Born, MI 48187.
