He was a beacon of love and joy to all who knew him. Described as loving, goofy, and funny, Lawrence had a unique ability to light up a room with his infectious laughter and endless humor. His compassionate soul, bright personality, and warm heart will be greatly missed.
He was a remarkable man who always believed in doing one's best in all endeavors. This mantra not only guided his personal pursuits but is also evident in his parenting as he instilled the same values in his children. His outstanding achievements as an amazing bowler will forever echo in the hallways of bowling alleys he frequented, encapsulating his tenacity, dedication, and love for the sport.
Cherishing his memory are his children: Erika Burgos Elsberry, Lawrence Elsberry Jr., Demetri Elsberry, Charlie Elsberry, and Dillan Elsberry. His grandchildren: Lawrence Elsberry, Naielle Elsberry, Mateo Rivera, Mercedes Elsberry, James Woods Jr., Yasmin Woods, Carmelo Woods, Amir Burgos, and Demetri Elsberry Jr. His remaining brothers: Mike Edmondson and Lawrence Kirkendoll, his beloved aunt, Dorothy Smith, and many more family and friends, also survives him, holding onto the fond memories they made over the years.
Lawrence was predeceased by his loving parents, Willie Elsberry Jr. and Eartha Elsberry. His brother, Edward Elsberry, also preceded him in leaving this world. We find solace in the belief that they are united in heaven, their love and laughter joined once more.
Lawrence's light continues to shine in the hearts of all who loved him. His memory will forever be etched in our minds and spirits as we remember the love, laughter, and wisdom he shared with us. His physical absence leaves a void that will never be filled, but his spirit lives on in each life he touched.
