Lawrence Cassidy was a strong, influential presence in the lives of many and a man who left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. Known for his generous spirit and unwavering loyalty, Lawrence was the kind of man who would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need, never expecting anything in return.

In the community and beyond, Lawrence was a legend in the streets—respected, admired, and remembered for his strength, heart, and authenticity. An old soul with a larger than life spirit he stood up for others with courage and conviction. His influence reached far and wide, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him.

He found peace in fishing and always had his beloved dog Afi right next to him, he took great pride in the friendships and bonds he formed throughout his life. Lawrence deeply cherished his close friends and loved ones, valuing loyalty, respect, and genuine connection above all else.

He was preceded in death by his father, Earnest; his mother, Sandra; his sisters, Pam and Bev, and his brothers, Sam and Steven.

Lawrence is survived by his wife, Stephanie; his children, Christina, Daniel, and Brianna; his brothers, Tim, Earnest, and Michael; his sisters, Sue and Patricia and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Lawrence’s memory will live on through the people whose lives he touched, the friendships he built, and the respect he earned throughout his life.
