I remember her singing Rod Stewart’s hit, ‘Do Ya Think I’m Sexy.’  And, I remember the leopard print scarves and the  Bobby Womack glasses.  She was always uniquely, Mrs White.

I am so grateful for the time I had with my cousin LaWanda, primarily through phone calls. Our mothers were favorite first cousins, and with the deaths of my parents, she was faithful in keeping up with me. Her support was priceless. I treasure the conversations, whether she was sharing successful strategies she used in raising children, to disclosing the most interesting stories about our ancestors! I love her and all that she gave of herself!
