LaWanda's obituary
We are deeply saddened to announce the untimely passing of Mrs. LaWanda Kissell-Crawford. Born on May 8, 1979, she left us too soon on April 8, 2024. Her radiant spirit and caring nature left an indelible impression on everyone she encountered.
LaWanda is survived by her dedicated husband, Donald Crawford; her loving sons, Spencer Crawford and Steven Burns; and her precious daughter, Lily Crawford. She also leaves behind her supportive brother-in-law, Norman (Guy) Crawford. Her life was a living testament to the belief in loving unconditionally, which is a lesson she passionately imparted to her family.
A woman of numerous passions, LaWanda had an eclectic taste in life's finer pleasures. She enjoyed the adventures of 'Supernatural' on television, found delight in the whimsical world of 'Alice in Wonderland' on the movie screen, and steadfastly cheered for The 49ers. Her love for blended coffee was unmatched. Her favorite local spot was Cornerstone, and one could often find her hiking, embracing the beauty of nature.
LaWanda's personality was truly vibrant. She was a blend of kindness, care, fun, and her favorite color, purple, suitably reflected her dynamic persona. Her favorite way to spend time was with her friends, reflecting her people-oriented nature. However, her kindness and compassion weren't limited to humans alone; she will be tremendously missed by her pets as well.
LaWanda leaves behind a legacy of kindness and compassion. Her passionate belief in unconditional love influenced many, and her loved ones aim to continue to keep her spirit alive by embodying these values. She will indeed be greatly missed, but her lessons, her love, and her spirit will forever remain in our hearts.
