Lavont was a caring father, son, sibling, uncle, and stepfather who cared for many children and even coached them. He left a legacy that will live on through the majority of the youth he came into contact with. His heart, his funny jokes, and his smile were always visible, and he never hesitated to be polite or give; he would go out and feed the homeless, and he would always want to do things from the heart. He lived all over, but his home was Phoenix, Arizona. He created his family here and has always enjoyed being a family man.
