LaVonda (Vonnie) Jeanne Crawford passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 23rd, 2024. She was born in Superior, Nebraska on February 25th, 1948, to Darrell and Opal Lyons. As a little girl, her and her family relocated to Wenatchee, WA where she grew up. Vonnie graduated from Wenatchee High School in 1967. She married Michael L. Crawford SR. on January 29th, 1966. Shortly after graduating high school, she graduated from Beauty school and was a Beautician for her entire professional life. During that time, she also worked for Stemilt, was a manager at McDonald's and Brown's Beauty Supply, and worked as a salesclerk at Goodwill. Vonnie played softball in a women's fast pitched softball league for five years and she bowled in a women's league as well. Vonnie is survived by her adoring husband, Michael L. Crawford SR., her son Michael Crawford JR. and his wife Lisa Crawford, her daughter Kristin Hastings, her son Cory Crawford and his wife Marla Crawford, her son Matthew Crawford, her 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and her loving sister, Connie Bacon. She was preceded in death by Darrell and Opal Lyons and her brothers Delbert and Steve Lyons.
