It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lavon "Bones" Hawkins, who left us too early on November 11, 2024. Lavon, who was known affectionately to many as "Bones", was born on September 10, 1991, living a life defined by compassion, humor, and an indomitable spirit.
Lavon was a man of many talents, but his greatest attribute was his kindness. It was almost as if he had an endless capacity to love and uplift those around him. His infectious laugh brought joy to everyone who heard it, and his unwavering loyalty made him a cherished friend and family member.
Lavon leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory. He is survived by his sister, Chanay Hawkins Wade. Alongside her, Lavon also leaves behind his adored sister, Danielle Hawkins. Their bond was a testament to the love and unity that embodies the Hawkins family. His brother, Raheem Hawkins, will forever hold fond memories of their shared childhood and camaraderie.
Additionally, Lavon's nieces, Kayla Griffin and Silhouette Hawkins, will remember their uncle as a man who filled their lives with laughter and positivity. His nephew, Zion Johnson, will remember Lavon as a mentor, a protector, and a friend.
