Obituary for Laverne ( Cooper) Lemmons
Laverne Cooper Lemmons, 84, passed away December 13, 2023.
A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late Helen Cooper Gosnell, she was a retired employee of Monaghan Mill.
Surviving are two daughters, Sandra Lawson of Inman and Darlene Blackwell of Lyman; one brother, Joel Gosnell of Lyman; one sister, Anita Clayton of Greer; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was also predeceased by one son, Myron Lemmons and one grandson, Scottie Blackwell.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Keith Kelly. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held from 4:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at The Wood Mortuary.
The family is at their respective homes.
