I’m remembering the best friend. Yes, more like a sister than a friend. Luv unlimited, EleanorΒ

Condolences to the family. Prayers for strength and peace always. It’s been a long time since we graduated and cheered together at Wheatley H. S. Lavada was always a leader, smart and kind. She is missed.

I am sad and sorry to hear of your loss Sharron. She was a wonderful friend and coworker, i have many great memories we shared
My sweet and beautiful Lavada, I thank God for giving me a glimpse of his goodness through you. Thank you for being my dear friend.

You always loved me and my family unconditionally. You never judged me, you gave me words of wisdom. You never stopped caring, you gave me hope in every situation.

Your acts of love and kindness are so so many. However, there is one I want to share. I lacerated my right arm and almost died. Lavada called me when I was home from the hospital and gave me words of wisdom and hope. She even made me laugh about not having to cook. Little did I know she had a plan to take care of that. Lavada surprised me when Forrest delivered a huge ice chest to my home that evening. What I didn’t know and Lavada didn’t share, is that she had been cooking homemade meals for me while I was in hospital. She cooked meals to last at least a month! They were individually packaged and marked with contents and dates. I was so overwhelmed by her kindness that I cried because she loved me so much. Lavada’s heart held so much love that her face always radiated. That can only be God’s love in her heart.

Lavada’s love came through not only in words but in action. She never boasted and I’m certain she has earned many jewels in her crown.

Love, wisdom, kindness, loyalty are just a few words to describe my dear friend Lavada. Life takes us in different directions after retirement sometimes, but true friendship keeps the love in your heart. My heart will love her forever.

Sharron, your sweet momma raised you well with lots of HOPE. It is my HOPE that you continue to be the model of love your momma was. Her love will sustain you and her wisdom lives in you.

Oh, one more thing Sharron. I want cuts in that dancing when I see her again!

Love you forever my dear friend!

So these three things continue forever: Faith, Hope, and Love. And the greatest of these is LOVE ❀️
Nothing in life prepares us for a sudden and devastating loss. After the tears have dried and the goodbyes have been said, all we have to hold unto are the happy memories that we’ve shared with our love one. This is what keeps them alive in our hearts and in our mind and they will continue to live on through you. We are praying for you Sharron, and hope you find peace and strength during this time. You have our deepest sympathy. β€œWherever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories β€œ.

My heartfelt condolences go out to a lovely woman with a grateful heart. She had do much love and adoration for her beautiful daughter. In her words......."Sharron is a good person, I am so lucky". I agree 100 percent!
A Poem for Mom

A Mother's love can teach us much,
But how do we live with sadness?
The absence felt, more strong than me,
Such quiet, ringing madness.

I miss you so, the pain is harsh,
It whips away my breath.
It cannot be that you are gone!
How lost and lonely, death.

For every day we must begin again,
Though pain may hide in sleep.
How dare we smile? How dare we act?
How cumbersome to weep.

You read to me when I was small,
More still, I learned from you.
Your softly ushered words speak low,
Gently soothe away my blues!

How blessed am I, for Mother's love?
How grateful for your song!
How much, I wonder, am I like you?
Perhaps, I am as strong?

I will live my days, each step with care,
And hold your lessons close.
My Mother's love, her guidance shown,
These I shall treasure most.

I love you, Mom.

For Sharron, with love,πŸ’•
