Laurin's obituary

Laurin Edward Stevens     July 17, 1922 - September 1, 2007

Helen Irene (Beaumont) Stevens   April 12, 1929  - November 2, 2022

Laurin was a country boy, the youngest of three with two older sisters and grew up in New Hampshire.   Helen was a city girl, the oldest of two with a younger brother and grew up in Massachusetts.  After WWII, which Laurin served in, he attended watch making school in Massachusetts where he met Helen.  They were married in a garden ceremony in 1949 and stayed happily married for 58 years.  They had four children, nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.  They enjoyed camping with their children as a young family, ballroom dancing, ocean cruises, and the friendships they formed through their church. They enjoyed traveling, dining out, and being with family and friends. They are joined together forever and once again, happily ballroom dancing.
