Lauretta's obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Lauretta Council Blair, a radiant soul whose personality was best described as bubbly and witty. Born on December 31, 1940, Lauretta's remarkable journey of life came to a peaceful close on March 22, 2025.

Lauretta was a beacon of unconditional love, a lesson she imparted on her loved ones with every opportunity. Among her greatest accomplishments was the joy of meeting three of her great-grandchildren, a memory she cherished with immense fondness.

Lauretta leaves behind a legacy of love and a family who will forever miss her infectious enthusiasm and undying spirit. Her husband, Glen Blair; her sons, Robert McAuley and John McAuley; her daughter, Cathy Bergeron; her granddaughters, Alaina Ware and Paige McAuley; her grandsons, Tommy Bia and Patrick McAuley; her daughter-in-laws, Mara and Elise McAuley; her son-in-law, Wayne Bergeron, are left to remember her precious memories.

She also leaves behind her cousins, Lucille Sanchez and Michael Meier. Lauretta was predeceased by her son, Patrick McAuley, who she is now joyfully reunited with.

In addition to her family, Lauretta will be deeply missed by her loyal companion, her dog Cutie, who was a constant source of comfort and joy to her.

Her laughter, wisdom, and absolute dedication to her loved ones will be missed. Her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those beloved friends and family she left behind. As we mourn her departure, we also celebrate her remarkable life and the treasured moments gifted to us by Lauretta Council Blair.
