The 1st I met Lauren was when she was an infant. She was a beautiful baby who grew into an even more beautiful young lady. The next time I saw her was on a billboard with her sisters-3 little darlings! I'll never forget Lauren. She was beautiful on the inside and outwardly. She is missed.

My condolences and love to Lauren's family. I first met Lauren when she moved in next door. We planned Halloween parties and cookie bake parties for the kids. She was always excited about life and deeply loved her family.

I met Lauren soon after we moved in to the neighborhood in 2017. London had bought a popsicle from my kids' stand. (Which my kids did to raise money for Grace Medical Home. Years later I would connect that Lathan's sister, Brooke, was our intern during college when I worked there). Further, their last name, "Beacham", is my given middle name. (Interestingly, I was named after another amazing neighbor where I grew up) .
Lathan and Lauren love Jesus and so do we. It was just super easy to really like them from the start. I always enjoyed talking with Lauren and always wish I saw her more. This last year she started asking me about London going to Orangewood for middle school. (I was thrilled as my children attend Orangewood). We are thrilled London is now at school with us and I promised Lauren in the hospital that we would make sure she enjoyed the school. I will do all I can to keep that promise!
In these past days I have had several conversations with our neighbors about Lauren's kindness. She was so, so kind. One neighbor said "her light could light me up". I believe that is Jesus he saw in Lauren. I will miss her--- my neighbor and my friend.

I am Scarlett Broughton’s mother. I only met Lauren once or twice in the neighborhood, but Scarlett has kept me posted throughout Lauren’s illness. She, Lathan and London have been in my prayers. I am honored to give to this scholarship fund for London and wish I could do more. My heart breaks for all of you.
