My condolences to Laurie's family. I first met Laurie when we worked at Software AG in Reston, VA. She, Lisa Calvert and I had lunch together everyday, went shopping, to the movies, had pedicures and did all kinds of fun things in the years before the Tully's move to Summerville. Our favorite place to eat was in Herndon, Va at the Tortilla Factory. We always had the taco salad - never anything else. Laurie is missed and Lisa and I send our love and prayers to the family.

Ever the cheerful one, dear sister;
Ever the one with a good word;
Ever the one to turn and whisper,
"You'll be ok! Now speak up! Be heard!"
Ever the sister of sisters was she;
Ever the balance of brothers;
Ever the one with a smile was Laurie
When she came to cheer up the others.
Good cheer, then, sweet sister Laurie!
Fare thee well on your new escapade!
To the stars then brave Truth, boundlessly--
Yes, embrace what your joys have made,
and what your hopes still make endlessly
the gifts of our sweet sister Laurie.
Your loving brother, Tom
