Laura's obituary
Laura Ann Walter, 50 years old of Seattle, WA, left this world Christmas Eve morning.
She was greeted in the next life by her mother, Valerie Henion Walter, and other beloved family members.
She left behind her black cat Hemlock and his sister Hazel.
Grief and remembrance is shared among her family: her father John Walter and Miriam Rice of Wyoming, DE; sister Lisa Marie and brother-in-law Patrick Cargile (Vance, AL); brother Dennis and sister-in-law Amy Walter (Quinlan, TX); nieces Tessa Cargile (Seattle), Victoria Cargile (Tuscaloosa, AL); Kelsey Etheridge and her husband RJ (Quinlan, TX); nephew Skylar Walter (Quinlan, TX); and many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins of Delaware, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.
Laura loved visiting national parks and watching and photographing wildlife (the bison were #1). She spent 3 years working in Yellowstone National Park. She was a voracious reader and loved art and architecture.
She was a 1998 graduate of the University of Delaware and a 1994 graduate of Middletown High School in Middletown, DE.
Laura loved her family and was loved in return by all who knew her. Her loud laugh was infectious.
The world will be a quieter place without her.
