Laura Lynn Wail, 57, of Bourbonnais, IL passed away on February 5th, 2023 with her family by her side.

She was born to Frances Gallo and the late Jose Luis Gallo, on April 14th, 1965, in Blue Island, IL. Laura graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1983.

She married David Wail in 1984, and they lived together in Peotone, IL before relocating to Bourbonnais, IL. Laura is survived by her husband David, two children: Joshua (Shelly Vickers) Wail of Saint Charles, IL; Erin (Robert) Voss, Cincinnati, OH;  two granddaughters, Hannah & Jane. In addition, her mother, Frances Gallo and her siblings, Peter Gallo, Michelle Salgado, John Gallo, Luis Gallo, Blanca Hopman, Lois Gallo, Jose Luis Gallo Jr., many nieces, nephews, and beloved friends. 

Laura was an accomplished cook and baker, who was passionate in the kitchen. Laura loved to cross stitch and needlepoint. She was an animal lover and rescued several beloved pets throughout her many years and leaves behind her dog, Mint. Most of all Laura loved to spend time with her family and friends and was immensely proud of her family, and leaves behind beautiful memories. 

Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023 from 10 to 1 (service from 11 to 12) at Parkview Christian Church, 11100 Orland Parkway, Orland Park, IL 60467. A private burial for immediate family will take place at Saint Casimir Catholic Cemetery at 2:30. It is Laura's wish that loved ones make donations in support of Lupus research, in lieu of sending flowers.
