Background
Lupus is an unpredictable and misunderstood autoimmune disease. It is difficult to diagnose, hard to live with, and a challenge to treat. Laura battled Lupus and showed tremendous resilience for over 20 years. She was very passionate about continuing research to support others diagnosed with Lupus.
