Laura Ann Myers was born 08-20-1969 and reached heaven's gates on November 5, 2022. Laura was a victim in a domestic violence double homicide in Columbia, MO where she was killed along with her grand-daughter, Lea'Johna  Sanders. Laura raised Lea'Johna whose own mother, Leanna, was killed in 2000 in front of Lea'Johna as a result of domestic violence as well. Unfortunately, Laura is the third generation in her immediate family to be taken as a result of domestic violence. 

Laura was a devoted mother. She leaves behind her children, Leanna Myers (deceased), Amber Myers, Brandi Myers, Ebony Myers, Justin Myers, and several family and friends who loved her immensely.

Laura had a huge heart and loved on everyone she came in contact with. She left an undeniable impression on everyone she met. She was provider and protector. She was a hard worker, strong woman, non-judgmental, she was outspoken, never boasted, and a real-life hero. She
