Laura Meisner of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, born August 12,1955, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2023 after an 8 year battle with multiple cancers. She was 68. Laura will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Laura was predeceased by her brothers Joseph Mrowiec and Edward Mrowiec. Laura is survived by her parents Edward (Diane) Mrowiec and Adrienne Courington. As well as her 2 daughters Julie Meisner and Katie (Justin) Leggett, her four grandchildren Kallie Leggett, Zoey Leggett, Nox Leggett, and Pax Leggett, ex husband Gary (Kathy) Meisner, and sisters Debi (Kevin) Shyne, Cindy Dunham, Gina Sylvester, and Vicki Mrowiec. As well as several nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Laura was an incredibly strong and talented woman. She loved music, dance, and all types of arts and crafts. Her favorite hobbies were line dancing and basket weaving. She loved working with children, while her daughters were growing up she was heavily involved in children's camps and organizations and is remembered fondly by many. She was loving, giving, joyful, compassionate, and devoted in her faith to the Lord. Her smile, humor, and infectious positivity during her health battles were inspiring to all. Above all she loved her daughters and her grandchildren, and she persevered through her illnesses as long as she did because of her undying love for her family.

Laura requested a celebration of life be held in her honor. We request all of Laura’s loved ones to join us in celebrating their beautiful life in Murfreesborbo, TN. The date and location are still to be determined. In lieu of flowers please donate to a fund to help with her celebration and family support, especially her four grandchildren whom she loved dearly.
