Laura Pauline Lawson, of Greencastle Indiana passed away on Wednesday, March 29th 2023, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

Laura was born in Carrollton, Georgia on August 4th, 1960, the daughter of Frank and Louise ( Fuller) Billings. Laura was a graduate of Greencastle High School.

Mrs. Lawson loved to take care of her family and served God by serving in outreach to others . Laura was a member of Justifying Grace Christian Ministries Church at Van Bibber Lake, Greencastle and helped support the Rejoice food share.

Laura worked in many different vocations including QMA, Deli associate at Walmart, and she aspired to be an EMT.

Laura was a friend to all she met and will be missed by many.

She is survived by her two brothers, Fred Billings, ( wife-Janet), and David Frank Billings; a sister Cathy Capps, ( husband- Raymond); and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert J. Lawson, and a brother, Tommy Duane Billings.

A service to Celebrate her life will be held at the Community Center- located in section 6 of the Van Bibber Lake community. When: Saturday, April 29th 2023 at 2:00. 

Family and friends are welcome to bring food, stories to share, pictures, flowers and wonderful memories to honor her.
