Laura Lee Goundry. May 8, 1977 – March 24, 2025

Laura (Laura-Lee) Goundry passed away at her home in Prince George, B.C. at the age of 47.

She was born in Toronto, ON, on May 8, 1977, to parents John Goundry (2001) and Diane Goundry (2017).

Laura-Lee became an animal lover at an early age and dedicated her life to working with animals. She spent many years as an Animal Care Attendant at the Royal York Animal Hospital, then worked independently as a dog walker. She loved all animals but none more than her precious beagle, Barney.

Laura-Lee also loved nature and was blessed to spend the final years of her life in beautiful Prince George, B.C. This big move across Canada was supported by her cousin Vicki, who welcomed Laura-Lee and encouraged her to be around horses and enjoy the splendor of the mountains.

Laura-Lee is survived by her brother Eric Goundry.

She will be missed by her Uncle Don, Aunt Linda, and her many cousins and friends.

Donations in memorial may be made to any organization that supports the well-being of animals, such as the Humane Society or SPCA.
