On Christmas Day 2023

I met Tish my Sophomore year at Valley. We hung around many of the same people. We had a PE class together as well - we (along with others) specifically picked Square Dance because we didn't have to dress out (lol). We had a lot of fun in that class; I mean overall, she was just easy to be around. She loved God, was non-judgemental, very smart, and was quick to get to the bottom of an issue. For instance, after Jr. Prom, a guy started a rumor about a female in our group. Tish immediately confronted him, he copped to it, she made him apologize, and that was that. I loved that about her. I also loved her voice. She would always be singing, and it never got old. She was who she was, and never switched up. We lost touch when I moved to SoCal, and to find out she passed away was wild, and I was in denial (because you know how social media can be) until her mother confirmed. 

My heart goes out to Ms. Margaret, her children, grandchildren, extended family, classmates, and friends. May she continue to live on in our hearts 💛.

Still in shock! I will miss you both. Take care of each other.

Sending my deepest most heartfelt condolences out to Tish's ((and Vickey's although, I only met her twice briefly)) Mom and family...I worked with Tish at Sharif & Co in Folsom...I  have such gratitude for her and her effervescent personality. . . Tish was one of a kind, hilarious!! I looked forward to working with her every day. She made everyone smile when she came in... I miss her everyday. I wish there were more humans like Tish. If we had that, our world would be a much better place.  It's so sad to hear of her passing.... I am still in shock & we are all heart broken here, to say the least. . .May GOD Rest their souls.🙏🏼 💐🙏🏼

With condolences and sympathy to LaTishia's family and friends. Although I didn't have the opportunity to meet Latisha, I did know Vickie growing up as cousins. May Latisha and her partner Vickie rest in peace.

My prayers are for the family of LaTishia Casey.  She was an excellent singer, one of my best choral music students and had a giving/caring spirit.  May God wrap His loving arms around family and friends.
