Larry Wayne Beckham, "Ceres Lee", was born in Norfolk County, Virginia, on December 24, 1952. He passed away in Arlington, Texas on July 16, 2025. He lived the better part of his life in Austin, Texas.

He is survived by his siblings, William Beckham, Donald Beckham (Rejohna), Patricia McCubbin (David), and Patrick Beckham, his children, Joy Smith and Selanya McCoy, his 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and many other family members.

Larry was a very worldly, unique, and very intelligent person. He was a computer programmer/software engineer. In his younger years, he lived a very adventurous life. He traveled the U.S.A and to other countries, mingled in large social circles, was very cultured, enjoyed science, history, literature, and he was a humanitarian. He had a passion for music and was a talented guitar player.

Larry is proceeded in death by his father, Garland Wayne Beckham, and his mother, Gloria Jeanette Loyd. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
