🕊️ In Loving Memory of Larry Triebelhorn

1941 – July 22, 2023

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Larry Triebelhorn, of Moro, Oregon, who passed away peacefully on July 22, 2023. Born in Greeley, Colorado in 1941 to Emanuel Triebelhorn and Susan Yakel Triebelhorn, Larry lived a life defined by service, hard work, and love for family. He was a proud resident of Sherman County, Oregon, where he made his home and built lasting connections.

A U.S. Air Force veteran (1963–1967), Larry dedicated his career to public service — first with the Oregon State Department of Fish and Wildlife, then as a farmer, and later with the Oregon Department of Transportation until his retirement in 2001.

Outside of work, Larry enjoyed the quiet joys of life: fishing, playing cards, and sharing laughter with loved ones. A well-played hand of cards is how he met his beloved wife, June, who preceded him in death.

Larry is survived by his children, Doug and Julie; his grandchildren, Drew, Audrey, and Alana; and his siblings, Gina, Bob, and Kenn. He leaves behind many fond memories and a legacy of kindness, humor, and integrity.

At Larry’s request, no service will be held. He was laid to rest near the Metolius River, close to Camp Sherman — a place dear to his heart.

Larry will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
