Larry's obituary
It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. Larry Roy Cline. Larry was born on the 14th of March, 1945, and passed away unexpectedly on the 10th of February, 2025. He was a cherished father, friend, and mentor to many. His infectious laughter and warm jokes made a lasting impression on all those he encountered.
Larry made the world a brighter place with his great sense of humor. His ability to light up a room and make anyone smile will be remembered by all who had the fortune of experiencing his charisma. His love for bowling, racquet ball, golf, snowmobiling and video games are additional aspects of who Larry was, he loved to give bowling lessons to his team mates. He was a wellspring of knowledge for anyone needing to learn anything. His dedication to guiding others was only surpassed by his heartfelt wish to see them succeed.
His legacy continues through his loving daughter, Shelly Cline, granddaughter Aurelia Cline-Desbiens, and sister Sandy Irwin who survives him. Like her father, Shelly carries the same kind-hearted and humorous spirit that Larry was loved and adored for. His memory and the lessons he shared will live on through her.
He was pre deceased by his father Leroy, mother Rose, brother Roger and sister Tressie. And many other friends and family whom he loved dearly.
His family and friends will gather together to remember and celebrate his exceptional life on the 17th of October, 2025, at 2:00 PM. The Celebration of Life for Larry will be held at the Southern Alberta Pioneers Memorial Building.
Larry's impact is far-reaching; he left a legacy of kindness and humor that has touched the lives of many. His memory will remain in our hearts, bringing smiles to our faces and warmth to our souls for years to come.
