Larry Dewane Richards, 72, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on July 24, 2023. He was born on January 1, 1951, in Alpena, Michigan. Larry was a loving, caring, and funny family man, known for his warm personality and kind heart.

Larry is survived by his children, Amber (Richards) Jones and Gary (Richards) Deroux; his sister, Carol Schaudt; his grandchildren, Renay Nolan, Hayley (Richards) Beffery, Sydney Richards, Jayden Richards, Braylon Richards; as well as his great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hattie and Vincent Budnick, his son, Larry Dewane Richards II and His Brother Vincent Budnick Jr

Larry spent his career working for the City of Battle Creek, In his free time, he enjoyed outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing. Larry also cherished moments spent cooking and baking with his loved ones, creating lasting memories.
