Larry would take me on the jet ski around Lake Ray Hubbard or sometimes Lake Whitney. We would go to Schlotskies on Garland/Buckner, then drive to White Rock Lake and enjoy lunch with a view. We would play backgammon for hours because he wouldn't let me win. La Madeline was a favourite of his.
