Mr. Larry Pittman, age 57, of Calhoun, Georgia, departed this life Monday morning, February 7, 2022, at the local hospital. Larry was born March 28, 1964, in Copperhill, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Charles Willard and Mable Pittman, his mother, Mildred Gaddis Pittman Ray, his brother, Ricky Pittman, his grandparents, Vestie Mae and Dale White and Ethie and Ralph Burger. Larry was a member of Eleventh Avenue Baptist Church.

He is survived by his sister, Annette Pittman of Calhoun, GA; daughters, Emily Brooke Pittman and Brandon Walker of Rome, GA, Taylor Michelle Pittman and Travis Payton of Adairsville, GA; grandchildren, Lakota Pittman, Jayden Pittman, Bryce Pittman and Daxton Pittman; his little shih tzu jack Russell terrier, Precious Pittman; mother of his daughters, Sandra Bunch Smith of Adairsville, GA; in-laws, Elsie Bunch and Edward Chastain of Adairsville, GA; special friends Evelene Shugart and Darren Gilbert of Resaca, GA, Jennifer Pasley of Adairsville, GA; aunts and uncle, Joan Postell of Turtle Town, TN, Janice Hawkins, Jean Hawkins both of Copperhill, TN, and Bill White of Dalton,

GA; several cousins.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Larry Pittman will be held Friday morning, February 11, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Ponders Calhoun Chapel with Brother Denny Smith officiating. He will be laid to rest at Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery with Brandon Walker, Travis Payton, Jeff

Rakestraw, Darren Gilbert, Ivan Causby and Eddie Ray

honored to serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Calhoun Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Thursday and after 9:00 a.m. Friday morning until the service hour.
