Larry Steven Parsons March 16th, 1949 – March 15th, 2025

Larry Steven Parsons, age 75, of Cleveland, GA, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, March 15, 2025.

His Celebration of Life and Resurrection service will be held on Sunday, March 23, 2023, at 3:00 PM at First Presbyterian Church of Cleveland, GA with Burnetta Armour and Patrick Ballington officiating.

Larry excelled in academics and athletics during high school, lettering in wrestling and playing football. After graduation, he made the decision to enlist in the United States Air Force and served honorably in the Vietnam War, Italy, and Germany as well as several U.S. bases. He trained as a systems analyst and code breaker within the highly classified USAF Security Service and later moved to air traffic control.

After nearly a decade of military service, Larry transitioned into civilian life, working in the restaurant industry where he met Judy. They lived throughout the States with his work until settling in Georgia, where Larry continued various professions while the two raised their boys. In recent years they were able to enjoy a life-long dream of RV traveling together, reconnecting with old friends and family while embarking on many memorable adventures.

Larry is survived by his wife of 44 years, Judy;

Sons Steven of Colorado, Jamie of Ohio and their families;

and his sons and daughters-in-law, Dan and Angie Parsons of Cleveland, GA, Richard and Lexi Parsons of Buford, GA, Curtis and Anna Parsons of Loganville, GA, and Christian and Rachel Parsons of Lawrenceville, GA; and his grandchildren Damian, Olivia, Noah, Violet, Quinn, Scarlett, Raleigh, and Lakeleigh.
