When I was in 8th grade, there was a big dude that was gunnin' for me and was gonna kick my butt good. Larry found out about it and...I don't know what he did to that dude...but the guy never even looked at me again!! Larry always protected the people he cared about. I am so sad to hear of his passing.

When Larry and I were kids (must have been about 13 years old) we were fishing at lake perris. He actually hooked and reeled in a cowboy boot. It was like something out of a movie. We laughed for hours. He loved fishing.
