Background
Larry was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at the age of 32. Prior to his diagnosis, he had sustained a severe work injury that was thought to possibly activate an underlying autoimmune response. Larry suffered from debilitating pain that was a result of his joint damage and neuropathy from his RA. He underwent hundreds of surgeries and procedures in order to try and maintain his functional ability. Unfortunately, all the medications, treatments, procedures could not keep his disease at bay. Larry suffered immensely in private for many years and through it all, he did it with a smile on his face and a belly laugh for others.
